  1. COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY
  
  Mr. Çelaj starts practicing business activity at the age of 23, immediately after taking his degree in Business Administration from Tirana University in 1991. The first two years of activity are manly focused on trade. He seeks to fulfill the market needs through goods import.
  
  Commercial activity had a burst in 2001 after the Commercial Center RIVIERA in Vlora became operational. RIVIERA is unique in the sense there is no other Commercial Center in Albania similar to it at that time. Mr. Çelaj is the sole owner of the Commercial Center RIVIERA. Part of the center is rented and the other part is managed by Mr. Çelaj’s family members. Today commerce continues to be an important part despite its secondary role in the overall businesses owned and managed by him.
  
  In 2003 the company SIMPLE is incorporated. It is Italian-Albanian cooperation. The main business consists on import-exporting. The company trades mainly groceries. Mr. Çelaj owns 50% of the shares of the company.
  
  
  2. CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY
  
  After two years of successful commercial activity he expands the scope of activity entering construction market. The activity starts with building of condominiums in the city of Fier, one ex-industrialized city in Albania. Looking to the construction market as a market with a bright future, he creates in 1995 the Construction Company RIVIERA where he is the sole owner.
  
  - RIVIERA is a huge success. It quickly expands its scope from condominiums construction to construction of many private and public objects. In the curriculum of the company nowadays are roads, hospitals, schools, business centers, tourist objects, condominiums etc. RIVIERA becomes one of the biggest construction businesses in ALBANIA. The annual revenue generated by this business is estimated to reach around 14 million USD.
  
  - In year 2009 RIVIERA has started the construction of KAKOME BAY RESORT - the biggest tourism project in Albania, which has started as an initiative of Club Med France. The resort is situated a couple of kilometers north of the city of Saranda and is just in front of Corfu Island. The project will be developed on an area of 72 ha, defined by Club Med as the most beautiful seaside area in Albania. Riviera owns 75% of the shares of the project for which has been created the Special Purpose Vehicle Company “Riviera Kakome”.
  
  - Since the tourism real estate development and seaside residential projects increased dramatically and took a significant portion of the Riviera’s portfolio of activities, a company called Riviera Real Estate was created in year 2009 in order to achieve a vertical integration of the construction business from the planning through the development till the sales and the renting of the build areas.
  
  - In year 2008 Mr. Celaj officially became partner of the biggest Bulgarian Infrastructural Construction Company – Holding Roads PLC which is quoted on the Sofia Stock Exchange. Together with Holding Roads PLC they found the company Balkan Roads JSC which successfully started to operate in the Albanian roads construction sector.
  
  
  3. INSURANCE ACTIVITY
  
  Insurance business has started in year 2001 when the Insurance Company ATLANTIK SH.A. has been founded. The company is licensed for property and causality insurance only. Mr. Çelaj is the only shareholder in the Company.
  
  The operation started in a small scale, covering during the first year of activity only 3 regions. The second and the third years the company managed to grow very quickly and according to official figures, during 2004, ATLANTIK has reached around 15% of the total Albanian Insurance market. Nowadays, ATLANTIK is one of the leading companies in the Albanian Insurance industry.
  
  
  4. HYDROPOWER
  
  In year 2010 Riviera Company obtained from the Albanian state a concession for the development of a 31 MW Hydropower Station. This is one of the projects of a significant dimension for the Albanian standards in this sector and it will give Riviera Company a chance to enter in the Sustainable Energy Sector - something which the company was working on in the last year.
  
  
  5. FOREIGN REPRESENTATIVE AND LOBBYING ACTIVITIES
  
  Many country and even world leading companies from USA, UK, EU and Asia have approached the Albanian market through Mr. Celaj and his structures. Often meetings on highest governmental level have been arranged to our foreign partners and support in different fields has been procured. Recommendations by our foreign partners are available on request.
  
  
  6. TOURISM ACTIVITY
  
  Looking to the explosive growth of tourist activity in Albania, Mr. ÇELAJ decided to start up a tourist activity. Vlora, the largest city in the South Albania, placed near the seaside and one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Albania is chosen as the place to start. The activity started with the construction of Hotel RIVIERA in 1998. Mr. Çelaj is the sole owner of the activity. The hotel is managed by Mr. Çelaj’s family member.
  
  During the first year of activity the hotel acted passively. Tourists mainly Albanians, came in the hotel occasionally. In order to establish the business, in 1999 the tourist agency DALLANDYSHE is created. The agency’s primary activity is to bring in the hotel tourist from abroad (mainly Albanians from Kosovo and FYROM). The agency now acts as a full service agency selling tourist services and tickets for many destinations. Both activities are now consolidated. The hotel is almost fully booked during summer time.
  
  
  7. SECURITY SERVICES
  
  The Aulona Police, an object and body security business is created in 1999. The business now is consolidated and has under custody many activities in all parts of Albania. The business is funded by Mr. Çelaj and managed by a family member of him.
